About HSM:

     Do you need a place to grow in your walk with Christ? Do you need a place where you can be real? A place where you and your friends can have meaningful and deep conversation about God, life, and love? Do you need a place to make new friends and share life? Join us throughout the week at the Weber Street Center!

Sunday Morning:

There will be no Sunday School on Christmas Day or New Years Day (12/25 or 1/1)

      We meet in the Aspen Room at the Weber Street Center at 9:35a.m. on Sunday Mornings. We hear Biblical teachings from a variety of speakers and engage and immerse ourselves in practical discussions in our small groups.

First Pres North - Sunday Morning:

     First Pres North - High School, Meet at 9:30am at the Discovery Canyon Campus then attend the 11:00am Worship Service together.

Wednesday Nights:

Wednesday Nights are on break until January 11, 2012.

  6:00-8:00pm

  All HS students are invited to dinner in the Weber St. Center. We eat a community dinner at 6:00pm as part of our gathering and would love you to join us. Dinner is free, just bring an appitite, a desire to meet new people and learn about our God.

  We explore what it means to be alive and all of the questions that come up throughout the course of a day, month, or year. We focus on the questions of life and then look to see what the Bible has to say about those things. Why does pain exist? What is love for? Is the Bible real? Is heaven/hell real? etc.

  We also offer a leadership course on Wednesday nights. 'Dispatch' is our semester long leadership class for high school students who want to learn leadership skills and actually apply them each week here at First Pres. Dave Patton and Becca Lauffenburger will guide you through aspects of Christian leadership and then you will go across the street to the main building each week to lead in the children's ministry. Dispatch is required in order to serve with the other age levels and it is beneficial before serving as a summer counselor at one of our camps. Meeting in the Student Ministries Meeting room.

  If you have gone through dispatch, and many high school students have, you can apply for a position to be a student leader for the children's, R56 and I78 ministries. You will get to lead games, small group discussions and much more as you influence young lives for Jesus Christ. Apply today with the Student Min Office @ 884-6220.

Monday Lunch:

     Grilled Cheese Monday, come hang out and eat FREE grilled cheese. Lunchtime every Monday during the school year. Follows the Palmer High School Lunch Schedule.

Trips and Events:

     We have lots of different trips and events throughout the year. Morph is our fall retreat we just had. Winter Camp is our huge winter retreat coming up February 3-5 2012. We took a Bike Trip to Moab, UT during Spring Break last year. Crud Wars is our end of the summer party. We are going to McGhee, Arkansas and the Dominican Republic this summer for Mission Trips.
