IHN/Family Promise Team

Four times every year, First Pres hosts four families who would otherwise be homeless, providing food, shelter and community. Many volunteers are needed, including overnight hosts, set-up/tear-down, evening hosts and team members to buy groceries and make hot meals. ESM Donation Sunday

First Pres was one of the 8 founding churches that started ESM. We collect food to help stock their food pantry every first Sunday of the month. Bring in anything from canned or boxed goods, laundry detergent, diapers, Bibles, or maybe even a teddy bear. Carts will be placed in the Plaza and in the Weber Street parking lot.

Refugee Life Skills/ESL Volunteer

First Pres will again host Life Skills ESL classes for refugees on Monday and Wednesday mornings, beginning in January. Volunteers are needed to assist in the classroom. Training is required and will be provided. Contact the City and Global Engagement for more information.

Springs Rescue Mission Resource Center Volunteers

One of our local partners, Springs Rescue Mission, is looking for individuals or groups to help out in their Resource Center. They are needing people to come in anywhere from once a week to once a month to assist in helping those coming to the Resource Center in a variety of ways.
