Doorways for Middle School:

Who: 8th grade youth
When: Jan. 9 through March 6 (no class on Feb. 6 due to Winter Camp)
Time: Immediately after the 11:10am worship service until 3:00pm
Where: Weber Street Center

Food: Lunch each week, please pay $25 before the start of class to cover your food expense. (If you don't want lunch, please arrive no later than 12:45pm so that we can begin promptly. There will be no charge.)

What is Doorways for Youth? Doorways for Youth (Confirmation) is designed for those who are in 8th grade who want to learn more about the Christian faith and who are considering membership at First Pres Church. Each church approaches confirmation and membership classes differently, but it is our desire that you have the opportunity to understand the Christian faith and church membership, ask questions, and learn more about Jesus and his role in your life. Membership at the end of the class is not required, but certainly encouraged.

In an effort to keep our classes small and age-appropriate, 9-12th grade youth will have a separate class on Wednesday nights that will cover the same material. If your child is not ready, or cannot attend at least 6 of the 8 classes, they can attend a different Doorways for Youth class next year.
