ESL Classes for Refugees

Ongoing opportunity!
A unique opportunity -- offering Colorado Refugee English as a Second Language program with ESL classes here at the church.  These classes help prepare newly arrived refugees to enter the workforce.  Classes are Monday - Thursday, 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.   Volunteers needed to sub for regular volunteers on an as needed basis - call in to sign up for the sub list!   

Classes have provide a unique opportunity to get to know people from other countries and to make new friends. This has also provided a wonderful opportunity to welcome refugees to our country in the name of Jesus Christ.  No experience necessary.

Springs Rescue Mission

One of our mission partners is in need of volunteers in a number of areas.  Volunteering for SRM makes a difference in the lives of families struggling to make ends meet in this especially difficult economy. 

Licensed Volunteer Driver - For pickups and deliveries.

Direct Services Department Volunteers  - Intake of donations, warehouse assistance, & Licensed drivers.

Samaritan's Kitchen - Help provide food for hungry children, families, and individuals within the city. Packing, cooking, or delivering.

Administrative Assistant - Data entry, answering phones, etc.
