Welcome to our newly formatted first-pres.org website!  Here are a few things you might want to know.

 

Home Page

The home page features easier access to worship times and locations, video including sermons, upcoming events and regular communication from our Community.

 

Sunday Home Page

On Sundays the Home Page will change format slightly to allow easier access to our live stream broadcast of Sunday worship.

 

Previous Home Page Links

My First Pres has moved to the tab at the top of the home page.  First Time Visitors is now located under WORSHIP.  Giving is now located under WORSHIP. Connect with Community is reorganized and all the ministry content that was accessed through this button is primarily located under ADULTS.

 

Drop Downs & Breadcrumbs

We have added drop down menus to the top level buttons so that you can more easily see what is in each area of the site. We also added breadcrumbs, the little words that appear near the top left of your screen.  Breadcrumbs record your path as you click through site, you can use the breadcrumbs by clicking on them to get back to previous pages.

 

Worship, sermons and other recorded material

We’ve split the old Worship area into two.  If it’s live that Sunday then you will find the Orders of Worship and the live stream broadcast under WORSHIP. If you are looking for previous sermons, CORE or other teaching material you should look in MEDIA.  If you are looking for First Pres Magazine and other church publications, look in MEDIA.

 

Adults & Children

We took the previous Spiritual Growth material, some of the Recreation material and the Adult Education material including Men’s and Women’s Ministries, and located it all under ADULTS.  Everything associated with children, including Sunday School, Music, Camps, Wednesday Nights, and preschools now resides under CHILDREN.

 

Serve

Everything associated with missions – serving in the church, in our community or around the world is now relocated under SERVE.

 

Caring

Caring remains the same with a few new areas highlighted and an opportunity to see all our support groups and workshops in one place.

 

Students

Students moves up to the top line, the rest of the Student area remains the same.
