Services of Worship
Worship is considered foundational at First Presbyterian.
Through a combination of uplifting music, corporate prayer, and the solid, practical teaching of God’s Word, we seek authentic and heart-felt worship. From that experience flows our sense of community. Worship transforms our lives and motivates us to serve. To that end, we strive for worship that speaks to the whole person—mind, heart and body.
Blended Traditional at 8:20 & 9:45 a.m. in the Sanctuary
A brass ensemble and organ, our renowned adult choir, a blending of traditional hymns and contemporary praise and worship songs, and inspired preaching combine to create a service that is sometimes splendidly majestic, sometimes warm and personal, and always meaningful. A children’s message is included at the 8:20 a.m. service.
Band-led at 11:10 a.m. in the Sanctuary
Warm, energetic, and very meaningful, this service is band-led with a blending of traditional hymns and contemporary praise and worship songs, a children's message, and identical preaching.
Contemporary at 9:45 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall
A praise band, worship team, and contemporary praise and worship songs combine with the same inspired preaching from our pastor to make these services a worship experience that is warm, inspirational and exciting for all ages. A children's message is included at the 5:00 p.m. service.
