Knit and Chat


Knitters of all levels (including those wanting to learn are invited to knit together.  Knit for fun!  Bring your projects, your questions, and your ideas. OR…  Knit with a purpose!  Make a variety of items for a multitude of mission projects.  Work during the day?  No problem, gather a group of friends and neighbors and we’ll help you get a group started either in your home or at First Pres.

  • When: Thursdays, 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – Ongoing knitting time
  • Ages: All are welcome!

Cards That Say "I Love You" And Other Special Messages


Looking for that special way to say "I Love You" or "Im Thinking of You" or "Just Because . . ." In this class you'll make four special cards that can be used to let someone know how special they are to you. These cards are suitable for men or women.
  • When: Friday, January 22 - 6:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
  • Cost: $8
  • Register by: Friday, January 15
  • Age 14 and up

Card Making: Think Spring


Learn to make cards that are bright, fun, easy to make and can be used for any occasion. We will be making four cards using coordinated papers, die cut stickers and embellishments. But this is just the beginning - you will leave with enough leftover paper and die cuts to make up to 15 more cards. Idea sheets to take home will be provided.
  • When: Friday, March 19 - 6:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
  • Cost: $18
