Strong Women, Strong Bones


Wind up your summer by getting yourself stronger and more fit!  Strong Women, Strong Bones is an exercise class designed for women in midlife and older.   This program was developed by Tufts University to help prevent, slow and improve osteoporosis, arthritis and other health conditions.

Personal Education



CPR

 

Learn to perform Adult, Child and Infant CPR to help victims survive a heart attack or stroke. You will also learn how to treat respiratory distress and choking. Class is open to those ages 13 and up. Two levels are available through this course.

Friends & Family: Course for the General Public. Enjoy participation in training using the easy-to-read study guide. No written or manikin testing, just lots of hands on practice. Cost: $25.

Level 2: Course for those seeking or needing a credential. Pursue completion in training using the full-size manual. Written and manikin testing required for 2-year certification card. Cost: $40.

All classes are Mondays, 6:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.

Basic First Aid


Learn the general information needed to treat anything from a small wound to giving basic life support. Students will receive a 2-year First Aid card upon completion of the class. This course is open to anyone ages 13 and up. Cost: $45.

All classes are Mondays, 6:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
