God’s Gifts currently is accepting registrations for the 2008-2009 school year. 

At God’s Gifts Preschool, we strive to help each child grow socially, academically, physically and spiritually in a warm, encouraging environment.   Our classrooms are large and cheerful with centers revolving around, science, art, reading, writing, math, music and more.  

Our teachers provide age appropriate, hands-on activities to help children learn to make friends, engage in group activities and prepare them academically for kindergarten.  We have a large, modern playground and access to an indoor gym when the weather is inclement. 

The children at God’s Gifts Preschool attend chapel once per week at one of many themed rooms at First Presbyterian Church.  One week we might go to the “Manna Grill” (a room set up to look like a 50’s style restaurant) to learn about how Jesus fed thousands and another week, we might go to the puppet theatre to see puppets tell the story of Noah’s Ark.  We also include Bible stories, verses and Christian Character Trait activities and songs in the classroom on a daily basis. 

We believe parents are a vital partner in their child’s education and invite you to visit our classrooms any time.

Three Year Old Classes: 

• Tuesday/Thursday, 9:00 a.m.-12:00 noon
• Wednesday/Friday, 9:00 a.m.-12:00 noon

Children in our three-year-old classes learn about the alphabet, numbers, shapes and prewriting skills, and participate in many hands-on science activities.  Our teachers place a strong emphasis on social skills and instilling a love of learning.  The curriculum is based upon a weekly theme and incorporates great, fun children's literature.

Four/Five Year Old Classes: 

• Monday/Wednesday/Friday, 9:00 a.m.-12:00 noon
• Tuesday/Thursday, 9:00 a.m.-12:00 noon

Children in our classes for four and five year olds learn the alphabet, rhyming (an important pre-reading skill), math skills and writing skills, and participate in many hands-on science activities.  We have researched area Kindergartens and have incorporated all the necessary skills your child will need to successfully enter kindergarten into our curriculum.  

Tuition:

• $60.00 non-refundable registration fee (first month’s tuition is also due at registration)
• $140.00/month for two-day-per-week classes
• $175.00/month for three-day-per-week classes

The 2008-2009 Calendar will be available in July 2008.
