Membership


The fellowship of God's entire family--the church--helps us recognize God's presence in our lives.  He has brought each of us to this place and wants us to fully experience his love.

If you've ever longed to become more connected here at First Pres, wondered what we value most as a church, been curious why we worship as we do, this class if for you!  A combination of teaching and interaction with others will help participants consider the next step of church membership and more meaningful involvement.

Join us for a Doorways membership class, where we will explore these critical questions and more:

  • What is a Christian?
  • What is a Presbyterian?
  • How do we grow in our faith?
  • How do we serve together at First Presbyterian?
  • What are my spiritual gifts?

Doorways New Members Classes


Fall 2010 Session 1
Wednesdays, 6:30 - 8:00 pm
September 15 through October 13

Fall 2010 Session 2
Sundays, 11:10 am - 12:30 pm
October 10 through November 7

During the final meeting of the Doorways course, participants will be received into membership and, later, will be presented to the congregation during worship.
