Membership


If you've ever longed to become more connected here at First Pres, wondered what we value most as a church, been curious why we worship as we do, this class if for you!  A combination of teaching and interaction with others will help participants consider the next step of church membership and more meaningful involvement.

Join us for a Doorways membership class, where we will explore these critical questions and more:

  • What is a Christian?
  • What is a Presbyterian?
  • How do we grow in our faith?
  • How do we serve together at First Presbyterian?
  • What are my spiritual gifts?

Downtown: Pastor John Goodale leads the first half of each class, followed by a discussion time with a small group. For more information or to reserve your spot in the next Doorways class, call 719-884-6140.

Wednesday GTW Jan 11-Feb 8, 2012, 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
Sundays Feb 5-Mar 4, 2012, 11:00 am - 12:30 pm

Weekend TBD

During the final meeting of the Doorways course, participants will be received into membership and then presented to the congregation during worship on March 11, 2012.

Fall 2012 Sessions:

Wednesday GTW Sept 12-Oct 10, 2012, 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
Sundays Oct 7-Nov 4, 2012, 11:00 am - 12:30 pm
