Vintage Motherhood: The BEST of its Kind
Let’s face it, raising kids today looks a lot different than it did 50 years ago, heck…..Facebook didn’t even exist!  And yet, as we look back, even though many of the gadgets for mothering have changed, the goals for Mothers have stayed the same.  We still want the same thing for our kiddos as our Moms wanted for us, don’t we?  We want them to be healthy, happy, honest and potty trained by kindergarten!

Vintage Motherhood, what does that look like?  Vintage is characterized by genuineness, maturity and enduring appeal; so the questions become:  How do I get there?  How do I find the time to get there?  How do I uncover the masterpiece that God has created uniquely in me?

So come and join us, wherever you might be in your mothering journey!  We will laugh together and commiserate as we look at time tested fundamentals that tie into parenting, forgiving, loving, growing and nurturing ourselves and our families.  The cool part about vintage motherhood is that it looks different for every Mom……come discover your vintage style!

Oh, and you can leave your pearls at home!

Childcare is offered on a space-available basis to the children of women attending MOPS. The MOPPETS program for potty-trained kids ages 2 - 6 features activities planned to contribute to your children's social growth, physical and creative development, and spiritual enrichment. Moms are contacted by pager if a child has a special need during the morning. The Nursery Staff is eager to help make the transition from home to childcare smooth for you and your children. Babies younger than four months are welcome in MOPS with their mothers. We regret we cannot accomodate daycare children, children who are ill, or those whose mothers are not in attendance.

Parking:
Free parking is available in the lot on the southeast corner of Bijou and Weber Streets or in the YMCA/First Pres parking structure on Bijou Street. Enter First Pres through the glass doors on Weber Street. Special needs parking for Moms with multiples, is available on the south side of the church.
