Grow in Men's Studies and Fellowships!



Men’s Lunch Break-11:45 am – 12:45pm, third Wednesdays of each month.   Our theme this season is "What's Happening at First Pres?".  There’s a lot going on at First Pres nowadays.  Join us each month for fellowship and food--and learn more about what God is up to at and through First Pres.  Cost is $8. Men's Life (Tuesday mornings, Sept. 13 - Apr. 24) 6:15-7:30 a.m.: Real men feed others! Join Jim Singleton, Bob Ewell, and others on Tuesday mornings as you learn to apply scripture to your lives on your own (in the company of other men!) in a way that will enable you to pass it on to others. As they say at Home Depot, “You can do it; we can help!”  Each week, we’ll give a brief introduction; you’ll look at 10 – 12 verses (from the book of Matthew) on the spot using tools we will provide; then you’ll discuss what God is saying to you with some other men, led by a trained facilitator. Getting into the scripture on your own is fun, it’s doable, and it’s necessary! Real men feed others! Join us.  Cost is $15.  For more information please call 884-6144.

Top Gun Basic Training (Tuesday evenings) 6:30-8:30pm: Basic Training is the best 35 weeks a man can spend to get the fundamentals of what God expects from us: Authenticity, Passion and Sacrifice.  We are looking for a "Few Good Men" who are looking to make a difference in their lives, their families, their work, their church and their communities! Registration is closed. 

Top Gun Discipleship Training (Classes meet in independent small groups, accountable to the Discipleship Training Coordinator.) For graduates of Basic Training the next step in Top Gun is Discipleship Training - a 35-week study with more focus on the application of the biblical principles taught in Basic Training.
