The Nursery has several spacious and accommodating rooms to meet your chidrens' needs:
Infants & Crawlers - You can feel at ease leaving your baby with us! The infant/crawler room is a quiet space with swings, floor mats, toys, and rocking chairs. A separate crib room is available with individual cribs for those infants needing to take a rest. Nursing mothers are welcome where we can offer you a private, comfortable space to nurse your little one.
The Infant/Crawler Room is located just down the hall from the Sanctuary on the first floor.
Young Toddlers - Children 1 year - 1 year 6 months of age - Your Young Toddlers will be well supervised on the other side of the Infant/Crawler Room. These children are walking well and enjoy making very simple crafts, singing songs, listening to Bible stories, and having some free play time.
Children 1-1/2 to 2 years of age - Room #230 - Children in this room have room for hands-on activities to explore. They are taught the stories of our faith with puppets, books, games and songs.
Children 2-3 years of age - The Noah's Ark Room. This room features a playhouse, kitchen corner, books and many other educational toys. The children enjoy making crafts, hearing Bible stories and learning through play.
Are you potty training? We can help with that as well. Bathroom facilities are the appropriate size for this age range and are located within the room, allowing our staff to work with children who are in the midst of potty training so parents’ efforts at home are not wasted.
This room is located on the second floor up the stairs/elevator from the Infant/Crawler and Young Toddler Room and just down the hallway from the Sanctuary balcony.
Young Preschoolers - Children in our Rooms 236 and 237 have more structured activities similar to what they will experience in preschool. These children must be potty trained. The children have circle time, make crafts, sing songs, listen to Bible stories, and also have time to play.
These rooms are located on the second floor. Take the elevator located in the Atrium closest to the Weber Street entrance to the second floor, cross the bridge and watch for the room numbers. The nursery uses room 237 on weekends, adding 236 midweek mornings.
Each room has signage with appropriate ages listed. Be sure to check you child into the room they should be in, even if that room is temporarily closed.
