Welcome to First Pres!  We are located in the heart of downtown Colorado Springs at the corner of Bijou and Nevada streets. We offer four worship services on Sundays: traditional services at 8:20 and 9:45 a.m. in the Sanctuary as well as contemporary services at 9:45 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall and 11:10 a.m. in the Sanctuary. We also offer a mid-week contemplative service, Oasis, at 12:15 p.m. on Thursdays in the Sanctuary. For more information on our services, visit the worship tab on this site.

First Presbyterian Church of Colorado Springs was founded by Rev. Sheldon Jackson on August 17, 1872. For more than 143 years, First Pres has been a beacon of hope in this community. As we have since our founding, we remain committed to sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with the community and serving as a light on the corner of Bijou and Nevada streets in the heart of downtown Colorado Springs.

Our vision is To Prepare All Generations To Impact Lives For Christ. To learn more about our vision and how we're committed to living it out, please visit the Our Vision page under this tab.

In 2012, First Pres joined the new denomination ECO. To learn more about this denomination, visit www.eco-pres.org.
