The foundations of this class for both couples and singles are (1) verse-by-verse inductive study of the Bible, (2) support of God's world-wide mission via missionary couples, (3) caring prayer for one another's needs, and (4) warm, meaningful fellowship.

Is there more to the Christian life than being active in a Christian community, affirming a certain set of beliefs, adopting a particular behavior pattern? Is religion mere observation, affirmation, moralism, or group belongs? Or is it something to recognize, suffer, and enjoy as a participant? This class has a small group discussion format.

An exciting class that is open to all single and married adults in our community.  The class encourages spiritual growth through bible study and serving God through friendship, fellowship and helping others.   We study individual books of the Bible through a combination of lecture and discussion.  We also volunteer and provide financial support to many community organizations and participate in workshops like Divorce Recovery and The Grief Workshop.   Join us to meet new friends as we grow in our relationship with the Lord, develop healthy relationships with others and reach out in service with God’s love.

Koinonia, the Greek word for fellowship, welcomes both singles and couples of all ages and stages of the Christian life. We enjoy close relationships through fellowship and prayer. A class participation format encourages growth as Christ Followers and involvement in the world-wide mission of the church.

This lively and diverse class brings married and single adults of all ages together to form the largest Sunday School class at First Presbyterian.
