Women's Ministries

Welcome to Women's Ministries!
Our desire at First Presbyterian is to equip and encourage women in their journey with Christ.  Our commitment is to apply compassionate care whenever we touch another woman's life.  Our hope is to see the women of First Presbyterian dream new dreams, being inspired to touch this community with the love of Christ.  Our goal is to make the opportunities for involvement with other women in our congregation truly transformational!

Each woman has been uniquely gifted and placed within our families, neighborhoods, work environments, and communities. How is God calling each of us to live out “the hope that is within us,” Jesus Christ, in each of these relationships?

Is God asking you to:

  • Start a new small group in your neighborhood?
  • Be a mentor to a younger woman?
  • Meet needs in our city through acts of service?
  • Invite coworkers to a luncheon where they can grapple with life's big questions?

We are here to encourage you as you explore opportunities to be “light” and “salt” in your relationships. Also consider participating in one or several of the following programs that offer connection and growth for women.
