Sara grew up in Kansas but moved to Los Angeles to pursue school and work in the fashion industry, which she worked in for 17 years. While in Los Angeles, she began attending church and became a Christian in 2003. At her church home in LA, she served various demographics—preteens, young adults, singles and young marrieds. Also in Los Angeles, Sara met and married her husband, Alex. They have been married since 2016 and have twin sons. They moved to Colorado Springs in 2020 and began attending First Pres in 2022. In her free time, Sara enjoys crafting, thrifting and baking.
